Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he will announce his decision on his future very soon, following the 3-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday.

The Gunners, 5.00 to win the FA Cup, were dealt a huge blow at the Hawthorns as their hopes of finishing in the top four now look bleak.

Arsenal trail Liverpool by five points, but they do have a game in hand on their rivals due to their FA Cup commitments.

Two goals from Craig Dawson and a Hal Robson-Kanu tap-in ensured West Brom secured all three points as they piled more pressure on Wenger.

The Frenchman is being linked with the exit door after another disappointing season and the 67-year-old insists his next move has already been decided.

When asked about his future and his team’s fortunes, he said: “Don’t worry, I know what I will do in my future so you will soon know, very soon.

“You will see. Today I don’t necessarily worry about that. We are in a unique bad patch that we haven’t had in 20 years. We lose game after game at the moment, and that is more important for me than my future.

“We have a big fight and it will be very difficult now, but there is no other way than fighting and we must do it until the last game of the season.

If it’s not good enough we take the consequences. “And maybe, one day, if we don’t do it, people will enjoy it more to be in there.”
