QPR boss Chris Ramsey says he is concentrating fully on keeping the club in the Premier League this season and not considering his own position at Loftus Road.

Following the exit of former boss Harry Redknapp, Ramsey was handed the reins at the club with the remit of keeping them in the top flight.

However, things had looked bleak for the side until the win over West Brom which has given them renewed hope they can still stay up.

It is still unclear who will be in charge next season and many believe that if the R’s survive the drop they will stick with Ramsey who claims the uncertainty over his own future does not matter at the minute as staying up is the club’s complete focus.

Ahead of Saturday’s big game against West Ham, Ramsey says all talk about his own personal situation should be put on the back-burner as everyone is concentrating solely on the survival scrap.

The 52-year-old told his weekly press conference: “Everyone is focused on the challenge, my future isn’t a priority. Survival is in the forefront of our thoughts.

“I’m fully expecting a blood and thunder London derby. We will be positive and on the front foot and going for the win.”

QPR’s top-flight future hangs in the balance as they sit two points from safety with only five games left to play and they are 2.30 to beat the Hammers at Loftus Road this weekend.
