Gary Cahill feels Chelsea must add to their trophy cabinet this season after landing the Premier League title last term.

The Blues took the title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge and also reached the FA Cup final, where they were beaten by Arsenal.

Chelsea have a chance to take some revenge on the Gunners this weekend as they face off in the Community Shield on Sunday.

A Chelsea win is 2.30, a draw can be backed at 3.40 and Arsenal are 3.10 to come out on top.

The Blues secured a return to the Champions League after missing out last season and are 15.00 to land Europe’s top prize, and defender Cahill feels the pressure is on the Premier League champions to back up their success of the previous campaign.

“The pressure is on,” he said, as reported by the Evening Standard.

“We won something last season and this season [the pressure] will be no different.

“We need to prepare well and to realise what happened the last time we won the title [Chelsea finished a disappointing 10th the following season].

There are still a lot of players here that were involved in that.

They have had that experience and they don’t want it again.”

Chelsea are expected to sell Diego Costa before the transfer window closes but they have brought in forward Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, defender Antonio Rudiger from Roma and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco ahead of the new season.
