Massimiliano Allegri hailed his Juventus side for reaching the Champions League final but warned them they have not won anything yet.

The Italian champions downed Monaco 2-1 at the Juventus Stadium on Tuesday to wrap up a 4-1 aggregate victory.

Allegri has now urged his side to focus on their domestic commitments as Juve can claim the Scudetto with a point at Roma on Sunday, and they have the Coppa Italia final against Lazio to come.

“We are in the final and must try to win it,” said Allegri after the game. “Hopefully this is the right year. I think Juventus have a very good chance of winning.”

“We need to be more concentrated, and keep the ball better. But there are important games over the next month and we have to get the result against Roma or risk putting the Scudetto back in doubt.

There’s the Coppa Italia final with Lazio too.”

Allegri was in charge of Juve in 2015 when they were beaten by Barcelona in the final of Europe’s top club competition.

The manager feels his side have improved since that loss in Berlin and hopes the Italian giants can end a wait of more than 20 years for Champions League glory when they take on either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in Cardiff on June 3.

He said: “We learned a lesson in Berlin. We need technique, a great defence and a little bit of luck against a team of great players.”

Juve are 2.00 to win the Champions League outright. The Bianconeri are 2.75 to win at Roma on Sunday, a draw is 3.50 and the hosts can be backed at 2.50.
